Testimonials

Working collaboratively and imaginatively with others is one of Juliet’s real strengths and I can see it is one of the things she loves about research. I’m very pleased that Juliet is able to continue working with us on a freelance basis as we continue to get the benefit of her great skills in working with people, in taking imaginative and thoughtful approaches to research and in thinking through (as well as helping others to think through) complex questions and problems.

We love working with Juliet. She is a really gifted, thoughtful and enthusiastic facilitator, bringing with her a love of storytelling, a huge amount of knowledge and understanding, but most importantly a genuine interest in those she is working with. She is especially brilliant at listening to and responding to comments and questions from participants, enabling people to be heard and to develop their own ideas with confidence.

Juliet brought her listening and facilitation skills and a fresh perspective to a recent knowledge translation project at HSMC. She supported the team to think through how best to make some complex theoretical arguments relevant and useful for organisations looking to develop their (healthcare) workforce. Juliet worked seamlessly between the academic world and our collaborators: third sector organisations, patient representatives, a playwright, film maker and professional actors. When I went on maternity leave towards the end of the project, I trusted Juliet to ensure that the project was completed and I was thrilled that the launch event was a big success!
