I'm an experienced, creative, qualitative researcher and facilitator who loves to work with people to put research to good use. I bring together expertise in the organisation of health services with a passion for storytelling, to provide new and dynamic ways of approaching and understanding organisational problems and designing and sharing high-impact research.

I am a Sociologist, qualitative health researcher, facilitator and storyteller.

I offer expert support to research teams on designing qualitative research, consulting community groups on their experience of health care, facilitating Public and Patient Involvement and helping others develop and explain user-friendly, relevant and rigorous research.

I am based in Oxford but work across the South and Midlands of England. I am Chair of Oxfordshire Breastfeeding Support, which provides expert breastfeeding support across Oxford every day of the week and I co-founded Tales of Our City, a project exploring Oxford's queer history through oral history interviews with members of the LGBTQ+ community, archives, exhibitions and events.

I have a PhD in Sociology from the University of Warwick and a masters degree in social research methods. You can find my full academic CV here and a short version here.
